The specialisation in the design field
Alberto Nason was born in Venice in 1972. Following his experience at the "Option One" design studio in London, he studied at the European Design Institute of Milan and graduated in industrial design in 1996. After a year in Germany, where he worked at the "Eckart & Barski" design studio in Frankfurt, Alberto Nason gained specific technical and creative skills that he will have the opportunity to use when he worked for the architect Michele De Lucchi, in 1997.
Teaching activity, exhibitions and professional collaborations
His CV also includes the experience at the European Institute of Design, where he completed his dissertation and worked as a lecturer, holding a workshop on contract lighting. In April 2002, as part of an exhibition called "Legati ad un filo" held at the oratory of the Basilica di S.Ambrogio in Milan, together with architect Micheli and two more colleagues he exhibits objects made from various materials, the common thread being the very use of thread. For the 2010 edition of the Salone del Mobile he created a series of works in glass and wood together with Michele de Lucchi. He currently works with Vistosi, Arnolfo di Cambio, Miniforms, Domodinamica and Produzione Privata.
