Oriano Favaretto

Design is a form of timeless beauty

Oriano Favaretto was born in 1956 in Silea (Treviso).

EDUCATION
In 1982 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts.

CAREER
During his five years at the Academy, he met and exchange views with Emilio Vedova, a treasured teacher of gestures and signs. These discussions would leave an indelible mark on his life as a designer.
In the following years he had the chance to meet Ennio Chiggio, becoming first an apprentice and then a collaborator.
Oriano Favaretto is an independent designer, an all-round artist, always looking for new shapes and strong contents. A visionary who is constantly looking for an ideal balance between the function and shape of the object.
Over time, he has developed important collaborations in the lighting, bathroom and furniture sectors, creating successful products. There are numerous leading companies in the field of industrial design with which he collaborates: Bross, Artemide, Itre, De Majo, Selène, Venini, Linea Light, Viabizzuno, Icosmic Bagni, Regia, Evaluz, Moretti Andrea and Vistosi.
Today he is also Art Director for Mastella Bagni.

In his studio, founded a few years ago, he has employed in-house collaborators and freelancers to inject new creative vigor into his ideas and research projects, including those in the photographic and graphic fields.
