Vistosi triumphs at the Red Dot 2025 with Anisette and Plissé

VISTOSI’S MADE IN ITALY LIGHTS UP THE INTERNATIONAL DESIGN SCENE

A Prestigious International Award
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most coveted accolades in the international design landscape. Established in 1955, over the years it has become a benchmark for designers, architects, and companies seeking to stand out for the aesthetic and functional excellence of their products. The award is divided into three main categories: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept, and is presented annually by an international jury of industry experts.

The Symbol of Good Design
Winning the Red Dot means joining the elite of global design. The red seal is a symbol of quality, innovation, and value. Awarded works are exhibited in the prestigious Red Dot Museums in Essen, Singapore, and Xiamen, showcasing the evolution and trends of contemporary design. The award is also accompanied by an extensive editorial production – the Red Dot Yearbook – which documents the winning projects each year.

Our Victory at the Red Dot Award 2025
We are proud to announce that we have won the Red Dot Design Award 2025 with two extraordinary collections: Anisette and Plissé. This recognition celebrates our ongoing pursuit of balance between innovation, artisanal quality, and timeless beauty.
This is not the first time Vistosi has received this prestigious award: in 2017, we won the Red Dot with the Sata collection, designed by Favaretto & Partners. That milestone marked a key chapter in our history, and today, with this double victory, it reaffirms our ongoing commitment to celebrating signature design.

Anisette: Rigor and Minimalism
Characterized by contemporary geometries inspired by the shape of a lantern, the Anisette collection, designed by Francesco Lucchese, stands out for its elegant and ingenious design.
The patented fastening system allows the white shaded crystal diffusers to be attached without visible drilling, completely concealing the frame. This makes it possible to create up to four different configurations in the pendant version, playing with light, transparency, and the depth of the glass.

The collection is now enriched with a new table version: a sculptural lamp that, when lit, envelops the space in a warm and evocative atmosphere. When turned off, it becomes a decorative object with a strong visual impact, perfect for enhancing any environment with understated elegance.

Plissé: Poetry of Light and Material
Plissé, designed by Chiaramonte & Marin, is a collection with old-fashioned charm, a perfect blend of sinuous lines and material contrasts that transforms any space into an area of light and poetry. The blown glass diffuser conceals a delicate fabric lampshade, offering, both when lit and when turned off, a refined interplay of transparencies, colors, and textures.
The collection is enriched with two new pendants in medium and small sizes, now offered in a new wall light version, maintaining the shape of the larger version. The collection is available with LED lighting. It is offered in dark amber, smoke, burnt earth, antique green, and clear crystal colors, with a satin steel or matte bronze frame. New fabrics for the shade are now available.

A Milestone that makes us proud
Winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 represents a significant milestone for us and an encouragement to continue investing in the culture of design. Anisette and Plissé are the result of a collaborative effort between designers, artisans, and technicians, united by a shared vision: to create lighting objects that endure over time, evoke emotions, and inspire.
