The Baglioni Resort Sardinia represents the latest chapter in the long-standing collaboration between architecture and interior design studio Spagnulo & Partners and Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, a partnership spanning over fifteen years that has shaped some of the group’s most iconic properties. Set within the unspoiled landscape of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area, the resort interprets contemporary luxury as a profound sensory experience, in constant dialogue with the nature, culture, and traditions of Sardinia.

The interior design project is rooted in the analysis of two fundamental themes: the relationship between humans and nature—expressed through light, colors, materials, and sensory perceptions—and the heritage of local material cultures, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The result is a refined and distinctive design language that flows through rooms, suites, public areas, and outdoor spaces, enhancing materials such as granite, Orosei stone, raw lime plaster, artisanal textiles, handmade ceramics, and glazed terracotta, in a continuous balance between tradition and design.

Within this context, the collaboration with Vistosi takes shape, a long-standing partner of the studio on several projects, reaffirming a continuous and shared design dialogue. In the resort’s suites, the Damasco pendant lights by Vistosi were selected—an iconic collection of the brand, created using the cocoon technique, in which layers of molten glass threads overlap to form a vibrant, tactile texture. A luminous presence that perfectly embodies the spirit of the project: evolved craftsmanship, material expressiveness, and timeless quality.
