Overlooking the shores of Queenstown, New Zealand, this holiday home was reimagined by Stephanie Phillips Architect to embrace the most authentic moments of family life. Designed to be enjoyed throughout every season, it provides the perfect setting for days on the slopes, long dinners together, and moments of relaxation, all within a warm and refined atmosphere.

The interiors, designed by Sarsfield Brooke in close collaboration with the homeowners, are defined by a palette of neutral tones and natural materials that allow the surrounding landscape to remain the true focal point. The architecture interacts seamlessly with natural light, while carefully selected furnishings and finishes create harmonious spaces that effortlessly adapt to the rhythm of everyday life.

At the heart of the dining area is Peggy, the Vistosi collection that reinterprets the tradition of Murano hand-blown glass through a contemporary design language. Defined by its hand-blown glass diffuser with soft, enveloping shapes, Peggy emits a soft, even light, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

Its essential lines and the perfect balance of volumes, transparency, and finishes allow it to integrate naturally into a wide range of architectural settings, from residential interiors to hospitality spaces. In this project, the pendant becomes the focal point above the dining table, enhancing the space without overpowering it while establishing a harmonious dialogue with the materials, furnishings, and the breathtaking lake views.

The craftsmanship of Murano hand-blown glass, combined with meticulous attention to detail and the timeless elegance of the collection, makes Peggy more than a lighting fixture—it becomes a defining element of the interior.
