In this private home in Montreal, Vistosi’s Puppet collection helps define the character of the kitchen through a linear arrangement of three pendant lights positioned above the large central island. The choice of smoked blown-glass spheres complements the material palette of the interior, where wood, stone, and dark finishes come together in a refined balance of warmth and modernity.
Designed by Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, Puppet reinterprets the tradition of Murano blown glass with a minimalist and timeless aesthetic. The spherical shape—a symbol of harmony and perfection—is enhanced by the glass’s distinctive irregular striations, created using an ancient crafting technique that lends depth and uniqueness to each lamp.
The linear layout complements the proportions of the kitchen island, transforming the lighting into an element that visually organizes the space and creates a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. The transparency of the smoked glass gently diffuses the light, highlighting the materials and contributing to the sense of a harmonious, contemporary environment.
A project that showcases the versatility of the Puppet collection, which blends seamlessly into high-end residential settings, where minimalist design meets the artisanal excellence of Murano blown glass.
