Dione has also just won the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2025, confirming its international success and Vistosi’s continuous ability to stand out on the world’s most important design stages.

With the victory at the German Design Awards 2026, Vistosi receives its fifth consecutive recognition from the German Design Council, an institution that has been promoting design as a cultural, economic and social driver since 1953. Among the most authoritative international awards, the German Design Awards celebrate each year the projects capable of combining innovation, aesthetic quality and design responsibility, contributing to redefining the codes of contemporary design.

In recent years, Vistosi has consolidated a significant presence on the international scene, winning five German Design Awards:

• Groove in 2024,
• Anisette, Faro and Riketta in 2025,
• and now Dione, awarded in the 2026 edition.

This new milestone is part of a path of excellence which, over the past twenty years, has seen Vistosi win more than 35 design awards — given to products that have become best-sellers and icons of its catalogue. A result that demonstrates the continuity and solidity of a corporate vision capable of merging Murano glassmaking tradition, technological innovation and formal research into a lighting language recognised worldwide.

The 2025–2026 edition of the German Design Awards recorded an extraordinary level of participation: thousands of entries from 59 countries, over 2,000 companies involved and 33 projects awarded in the Lighting category. The international jury — composed of experts from 16 nations — honoured Dione for its expressive strength, formal purity and technical quality.

Dione is a collection that combines modern design, modularity and aesthetic refinement in a single lighting solution. Two satin white glass discs of different diameters can be combined together or used individually with a third element at the base, which contains two integrated LED sources that can be controlled separately. These elements, which can be configured in different compositions, are connected by electrical cables along which the glass diffusers can be positioned — in pairs or individually — at the desired height, giving life to ever-changing forms and balances, between minimalism and scenic presence.

With Dione, light becomes suspended poetry: an invitation to experience and perceive space with new eyes, the authentic expression of the dialogue between Murano craftsmanship and contemporary design that has always defined Vistosi’s vision.
