Virtual Museum Presentation

7 I 7 I 2022 - Vistosi presents: Vistosi Virtual Museum. Our Museum of Light

Vistosi, a historic brand in the production of decorative blown glass lighting enters the metaverse of light with a major virtual project. A real virtual museum, born from the pen of the studio atelier oï. The choice to have this team as a partner was motivated by a long-standing friendship. In fact, over many years and for various clients and projects, the two companies have collaborated and developed a deep mutual understanding and respect. And this project is further proof of that. An architectural concept that combines the old and the new, respecting the constructive and aesthetic rules of the island of Murano, in the heart of the Venetian lagoon, the place where the Moretti family’s historic glassworks has its origins. The transition from paper to a virtual museum was made possible thanks to the collaboration with HiveHub, a hub of vertical competencies that integrates different expertise in the fields of marketing, digital immersivity, and multimedia content. The individual members of the HiveHub hub thus took on specific objectives of the experience, coordinated by a shared direction. In particular, the activities of 3D optimization, photorealistic visualization, and static and animated rendering were entrusted to WowTextura. The development of the experience, interactivity, concept, and web development were handled by WowSolution, while video production activities were entrusted to WowProduction. A unique and undoubtedly innovative project that perfectly balances various digital technologies. In fact, the creation of the Vistosi Virtual Museum required the development of various technologies integrated with each other. From the outset, the experience requirements were twofold: the highest level of integration between the various modules and the highest level of photorealistic detail within the individual blocks. An immersive, multi-device, interactive experience integrated with digital presentation and sales tools makes the company’s new virtual project a new expression of dynamic virtual architecture, connected with the territory, with the collections and with the user experiencing it. More than eighty collections are exhibited in the inner boulevard crossed centrally by the water of the lagoon to create a continuum between inside and outside. A gallery with the LED technologies used by the company leads to a meeting room and the huge dedicated space, News Pavillon, designed to present new products and temporary exhibitions. A true experience, rich in content and insights. Product videos and technical information make the tour exhaustive, assisted by a Personal Assistant who can guide the user through the selection process and the knowledge tour. The building on the left gives space to the glassworks, which you can visit virtually to immerse yourself in the noises and skilful gestures that are the company’s authentic know-how. And then there are the exteriors that with incredible realism recreate a unique landscape of colourful houses and brackish water. Almost two years of project research and development, 20 professionals involved, more than 1,800 renderings realised, more than 90,000 3D video frames realised, 150 360° points usable, 7 integrated technologies, more than 500 pages developed, more than 600 3D models optimised. Nowadays, many museum sites have developed new digital realities. With its new project, Vistosi presents its more than eighty collections by exhibiting them all together for the first time in a virtual museum designed for the complexity of its architectural structure as a real Head Quarter. A project that is not intended to be a mere display of products but the most important communication project ever undertaken by the company, an experience that makes you fall in love and project you into the future.
