Vistosi at Light+Building 2016

Vistosi lighting shines once again at the Light+Building 2016 trade fair in Frankfurt

Vistosi returns to Germany for the biennial Light+Building trade fair, the world’s leading exhibition for lighting and building automation, which will be held from 13 to 18 March in Frankfurt. With around 2,500 exhibitors presenting their products and services in the fields of lighting, electronics and construction to an audience of over 210,000 visitors, half of whom are non-German, Light+Building is the only trade fair in the world to combine the fields of architecture and technology, showcasing the key sectors of integrated building planning. The fair is therefore an exceptional stage on which Vistosi will present the developments of the new collections presented at the Euroluce fair in 2015 to a large international audience of manufacturers and market leaders from over 50 countries.

At Light+Building, products that look to the future of energy efficiency

Light+Building is the meeting place for architects, interior designers, planners, engineers and craftsmen, as well as representatives from trade and industry, who can find the most advanced solutions on the market for their business here. The main theme will be energy efficiency, and solutions will be presented that reduce a building’s energy consumption while increasing its level of comfort. From LED technology, through photovoltaics and electric mobility, to the virtuous use of electricity with smart meters and smart grids, companies will present an integrated range of products and services that make a decisive contribution to fully exploiting the energy-saving potential of buildings.

The new Vistosi collections at Light+Building

Nodo, Oto, Puppet, Starnet, Stardust, Semai, Futura, Essence: the latest developments in these fascinating collections, presented at Euroluce 2015 as part of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, will be on display at Light+Building 2016 in Frankfurt, Hall 1.1 – STAND F51. Once again, they will be the ideal testimonials to the innovation, quality and refined design of Vistosi products, in which the craftsmanship of Murano glassmaking embraces the creativity of internationally renowned designers.
With these collections, Vistosi reaffirms its constant attention not only to trends in taste, but also to market demands for energy saving. Designed by Pio and Tito Toso, Nodo, a blown and freehand-crafted element, focuses on downward directional lighting that diffuses throughout the room and provides perfect illumination of the surface above which it is hung. Also designed by the Toso brothers is Oto, made with spherical blown glass elements available in four sizes, allowing for multiple and infinite compositions. Puppet by Romani Saccani Architetti Associati is also modular, a reinterpretation of a classic chandelier, but made flexible, light and essential, with diffusers in blown glass that is shaded and irregularly striped: the arms are hung individually according to the customer’s wishes, who becomes the designer. The infinite textures of StarNet crystal fabrics, designed by Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio of the Veneziano+Team studio, illuminate the environment through an LED source and allow you to create your favourite compositions and modify them to your liking at any time. Stardust by Francesco Lucchese is also inspired by the stars. It is a collection of anti-glare but highly luminescent chandeliers with arms in blown and hand-crafted glass, whose metal structures skilfully conceal an original arm fixing and wiring system. With Semai, Saggia and Somella have proposed a collection of pendant and ceiling lamps in mouth-blown opal glass inside a steel cage, which reinterprets the ancient Venetian lamp, with a free blowing technique that makes each lamp unique. Futura is also inspired by ancient lanterns, reimagined by Hangar Design Group with a metal ring that gently accompanies the elongated transparency of the single-piece blown glass, allowing pure light to triumph. Ideata da atelier oï, Essence è una collezione di lampade con diffusore in canne di vetro lavorato a mano, con sorgente luminosa a LED: una delicata architettura di vetro e metallo che si apre in una sorta di raggiera e irradia luce.
