Roberto Coin is universally recognized as a pioneering talent, capable of spotting many of the most intriguing jewelry trends of recent decades. His creations are sold in over 1,000 stores across 60 countries, including 11 flagship boutiques. In Italy, the Vicenza-based brand has two locations: in Rome, on Via del Babuino, and in Venice, in Piazza San Marco. The strongest markets for the brand are currently North America, the Gulf countries, and Europe. In the past two years, the brand has invested in new openings to strengthen its sales network.
Three new stores have been opened in the Middle East: two in Riyadh, featuring prominent Vistosi installations, and one in Bahrain. In addition, four new stores have been opened in Europe, in Cyprus, London, Gdańsk, and Paris. The brand is also approaching the German market.
The two recent flagship openings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were designed by Roberto Coin in collaboration with Studio Sclavi and executed with the support of a local partner, AIAS Company. Studio Sclavi has collaborated with Vistosi on many other significant projects for international luxury brands such as Bvlgari and Kooheji, a historic jewelry brand with nearly 70 years of history, now a reference in the world of elegance and high-end jewelry in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Giulio Miliotti Sclavi, head of the eponymous studio, directed the team from Rome, becoming one of the brand’s key partners and solidifying the concept of Roberto Coin stores worldwide. The design of the new boutiques is opulent yet warm, recreating the atmosphere of an Italian living room where guests can enjoy the quintessential Italian spirit.
The dominant color is green, which today identifies the Roberto Coin brand. The walls, in a hazelnut hue, are covered with wallpaper. In the VIP room, the armchairs and sofas are in a unique shade of pink called “crystal gray,” welcoming guests with a sense of femininity, enhanced by a multitude of soft lavender-colored cushions. All the materials evoke a sense of grandeur: gold, marble, and carpet.
In both locations, the Vistosi chandeliers are a focal point of the design, adding prestige to the displayed jewelry and enhancing its colors and reflections. The lighting installations originate from a common concept, although the silhouettes are different. Transparent glass tubes, smooth on the outside and textured on the inside, are arranged in sequence to create rounded volumes of varying heights. The cascades of glass tubes, illuminated from above, create an atmospheric and functional light, adding prestige to the selection of unique pieces and limited editions that stand out among the jewelry chosen by Roberto Coin as a testament to his creativity.
Vistosi was chosen by this prestigious brand for the creation of these installations because both companies share the same values: genuine representatives of Made in Italy and rare examples of true craftsmanship and mastery. Attention to detail and meticulous care represent a wonderful daily obsession.
