Four Seasons Hotels, Inc., operating as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, is a multinational company based in Toronto, Canada, active in luxury hospitality. It manages more than 100 hotels worldwide.
Since 2007, the majority owners of the company have been Bill Gates and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

Isadore Sharp founds Four Seasons Hotels, Inc. in 1960. He was still a young architect working in his father’s studio when he designed a motel for a family friend; its success prompted him to create his own hotel. So he bought a large plot of land in a run-down area of Toronto and designed a hotel to offer business travellers a place to stay during layovers; the Four Seasons Motor Hotel opened in 1961.

Four Seasons builds other hotels, including the Inn on the Park in 1963, a two-story, $4 million resort hotel on the outskirts of Toronto, which also houses Canada’s first discotheque.

In October 2012, Four Seasons opened a new hotel in Toronto, with 259 rooms, located in the Yorkville neighbourhood and designed by international design studio Yabu Pushelberg. The hotel, which includes a luxury restaurant led by chef Daniel Boulud, is described by The Globe and Mail as ‘the rebirth of an iconic Canadian brand in its hometown.’ The penthouse was purchased by entrepreneur Robert Österlund (founder of Xacti, LLC and Inbox.com) for over $28 million, a record price in Canada.

The Giogali collection by Vistosi, designed by master Angelo Mangiarotti, finds its place in the dining and living room in the ceiling lamp version. In both impressive installations multiple hooks elegantly distinguish the environment with modern and essential connotations. The installation that illuminates the relaxation area consists of two circles measuring approximately 50 cm in diameter and one metre in height.
The second is much larger, measuring one metre in diameter and two and a half metres in height. Both are settled in a precious ceiling that echoes the rounded shapes of the cascades of pure crystal hooks.
